The Search Screen
While this tutorial uses the Birds of North America database, the principles are the same for all the databases. There are three main windows in the Percevia search engine: the Attributes window where you select a field mark to identify, the Match window which shows the birds that are matched and the small QuickSearch window for quickly finding a bird when you know its name.
