MITCH PICKS |
Here are a collection of reviews of
my favorite books. I make no
guarantees, what I like may not be
what you like. You can go to Amazon
and see how other people reviewed
these titles, in fact Amazon lets
you give the book one to five stars,
which is a score of how much the
reviewer liked it. Then Amazon gives
a total average for all reviews. I
try to pick books with a total of
five stars, but of course new ones
don't always have ratings. Even if
you don't purchase the book I think
you will learn something from
reading the review.

DAVID AND SIMONE PICKS
|
David
Lukas and Simone Whitecloud are a
team of naturalists based in
Tiburon, California, where they
offer a
wide variety of high quality
natural history programs in Marin
County and throughout California.
Programs include bird walks, nature
hikes, evening slide shows, and
classroom presentations. Many of
these events are scheduled through
local organizations and are open to
the public, but Simone and David
also arrange private custom tours
for visitors who would like a
fabulous introduction to the birds
and natural history of Marin County
or the San Francisco Bay Area. Here
they offer the reviews of the
birding products that they recommend
on hikes and educational
walks.
