    Need help to ID

    I went for a walk in the woods today came across this bird high in the tree he was beyond the reach of my lens so I will say sorry for the poor image quality. I am in the state of Connecticut .

    I agree... Eastern Kingbird.

    The white terminal band on the tail is a very useful fieldmark for these.

    Thank you all so much  not to easy for this Kiwi boy to ID US birds new zealand birds now that is different Smile

    I have seen a few different birds this week  fantastic stuff .

    Eastern Kingbird Tyrannus tyrannus is perfect.
